Majestic Dawn

Majestic Dawn is the fifth expansion in the Diamond & Pearl era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The set focuses heavily on Pokémon from the Sinnoh region, particularly those introduced in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, including the popular Eevee evolutions Leafeon and Glaceon.

The expansion highlights several powerful Pokémon including Dialga, Palkia, Darkrai and Cresselia, many of which play important roles in Sinnoh’s legendary Pokémon lore. These Pokémon appear throughout the set with powerful attacks and abilities that helped define the competitive meta of the Diamond & Pearl era.

A major feature of Majestic Dawn is the inclusion of LV.X Pokémon cards, a special mechanic introduced during the Diamond & Pearl series. LV.X cards evolve from existing Pokémon and provide enhanced attacks, abilities and strategic options while remaining in play as an upgrade to the base Pokémon.

Two of the most recognisable cards from the set are Leafeon LV.X 99/100 and Glaceon LV.X 98/100, both of which became highly sought after due to the popularity of the Eeveelutions and their strong gameplay effects.

Majestic Dawn also features many visually striking holographic cards and includes several Pokémon that had not previously appeared in the Diamond & Pearl TCG sets.

Because of its strong lineup of Sinnoh Pokémon and the inclusion of popular Eeveelutions, Majestic Dawn remains a memorable set from the Diamond & Pearl era.
