Silver Tempest

Silver Tempest is the twelfth main expansion in the Sword & Shield era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game and focuses heavily on legendary Pokémon from the Johto region, particularly the iconic Lugia.

The expansion features several powerful Pokémon including Lugia, Regieleki, Regidrago, Alolan Vulpix and Serperior, many of which appear as Pokémon V and VSTAR cards. Lugia quickly became the centrepiece of the set, with multiple powerful cards that saw strong competitive play.

One of the most popular cards in the set is Lugia V Alternate Art 186/195, which features a dramatic illustration of Lugia soaring through a stormy sky. The card quickly became the defining chase card of the expansion due to both its stunning artwork and the popularity of Lugia.

Silver Tempest also continues the Trainer Gallery subset, a special collection of full-art cards featuring Pokémon alongside their Trainers in beautifully illustrated scenes. These cards appear in the reverse holo slot of booster packs and are highly collectible among fans.

The set also contains several Gold Secret Rare cards, including Lugia VSTAR 211/195, which features a striking gold foil design and is one of the rarest cards in the expansion.

Because of its legendary Pokémon focus and beautiful Trainer Gallery cards, Silver Tempest remains one of the most popular late-era Sword & Shield expansions.
