Paldea Evolved

Paldea Evolved is the second main expansion of the Scarlet & Violet era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The set focuses heavily on Pokémon and characters from the Paldea region, introduced in the video games Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.

The expansion highlights the final evolutions of the Paldea starter Pokémon: Meowscarada, Skeledirge and Quaquaval, each appearing as powerful Pokémon ex cards. These Pokémon quickly became popular among collectors and players due to their unique designs and strong gameplay abilities.

Paldea Evolved also introduced one of the most famous modern Trainer cards: Iono Special Illustration Rare 269/193. Featuring the energetic Gym Leader Iono, this card became the defining chase card of the set and one of the most valuable Trainer cards from the Scarlet & Violet era.

The set also features many Illustration Rare (IR) and Special Illustration Rare (SIR) cards, which showcase Pokémon in detailed, story-like artwork. One standout card is Magikarp Illustration Rare 203/193, which features an intricate underwater scene and quickly became one of the most beloved cards in the set.

Several legendary Pokémon from Paldea also appear throughout the expansion, including Chien-Pao, Ting-Lu, Wo-Chien and Chi-Yu, collectively known as the Treasures of Ruin.

Because of its strong lineup of Paldea Pokémon, beautiful illustration rares and the extremely popular Iono card, Paldea Evolved became one of the most collected sets of the Scarlet & Violet era.
