Paradox Rift

Paradox Rift is the fourth main expansion of the Scarlet & Violet era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The set introduces and focuses heavily on Paradox Pokémon, mysterious creatures from different timelines that first appeared in the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet video games.

These Paradox Pokémon are divided into two groups:

• Ancient Pokémon — prehistoric versions of modern Pokémon

• Future Pokémon — futuristic, robotic versions of Pokémon

Some of the most notable Pokémon featured in the set include Roaring Moon, an ancient relative of Salamence, and Iron Valiant, a futuristic fusion of Gardevoir and Gallade. These Pokémon appear as powerful Pokémon ex cards, many of which have strong abilities designed around the Ancient and Future mechanics.

Paradox Rift also introduces new Ancient and Future Trainer cards, which provide support specifically for these two categories of Pokémon and allow players to build decks around their unique playstyles.

The expansion contains many beautifully illustrated Illustration Rare (IR) and Special Illustration Rare (SIR) cards. One of the most popular cards from the set is Roaring Moon ex Special Illustration Rare 251/182, featuring dramatic artwork of the ancient Pokémon in a dynamic battle scene.

Another standout card is Iron Valiant ex Special Illustration Rare 249/182, which highlights the futuristic design of this Paradox Pokémon with striking artwork.

Because of the introduction of Paradox Pokémon and the large number of collectible illustrated cards, Paradox Rift quickly became one of the most visually interesting sets of the Scarlet & Violet era.
