Stormfront

Stormfront is the seventh expansion of the Diamond & Pearl era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. The set features a wide range of Pokémon from several regions and is particularly remembered for including both powerful competitive cards and nostalgic Pokémon from earlier generations.

One of the most notable aspects of Stormfront is the inclusion of Secret Rare reprints of classic Pokémon, including Charmander, Charmeleon and Charizard, which are designed as modern reinterpretations of the original Base Set cards. These cards appear beyond the normal set numbering and quickly became extremely desirable among collectors.

The most famous card from the set is Charizard Secret Rare 103/100, which features artwork inspired by the original Base Set Charizard card. Because of Charizard’s popularity and the nostalgic design, this card became the defining chase card of the set.

Stormfront also includes several powerful Pokémon LV.X cards, continuing a major mechanic of the Diamond & Pearl era. One of the most notable is Tyranitar LV.X 122/100, which became popular both among collectors and competitive players.

The expansion also features legendary Pokémon such as Heatran and several powerful evolution lines, making Stormfront an exciting set for both players and collectors.

Because of its combination of nostalgic Charizard cards and powerful LV.X Pokémon, Stormfront remains one of the most memorable sets from the Diamond & Pearl generation.
