Temporal Forces

Temporal Forces is the fifth expansion in the Scarlet & Violet era of the Pokémon Trading Card Game and continues the theme of Paradox Pokémon, creatures that originate from different points in time. These Pokémon are divided into two major groups: Ancient Pokémon, representing prehistoric versions of Pokémon, and Future Pokémon, representing futuristic, technologically advanced forms.

The set introduces several new Paradox Pokémon from the Pokémon Scarlet and Violet DLC storyline, including Walking Wake, Raging Bolt, Iron Crown and Iron Boulder. These Pokémon appear as powerful Pokémon ex cards, often with abilities that interact with Ancient and Future Trainer cards.

Temporal Forces also features many Illustration Rare (IR) and Special Illustration Rare (SIR) cards, which showcase Pokémon and Trainers in detailed artistic scenes. One of the standout cards from the set is Raging Bolt ex Special Illustration Rare 208/162, featuring a dynamic illustration of the prehistoric Electric-type Paradox Pokémon.

Another notable card is Iron Crown ex Special Illustration Rare 206/162, highlighting the futuristic Paradox Pokémon with sleek metallic design and dramatic artwork.

The expansion also includes several powerful legendary Pokémon such as Walking Wake, a prehistoric form inspired by Suicune, and Iron Leaves, a futuristic variant inspired by Virizion.

Because of its strong Paradox Pokémon theme and the continued popularity of illustrated cards, Temporal Forces became a major set for collectors interested in the evolving Scarlet & Violet era.
